About Me

iOS Developer, Solopreneur, and Indie Hacker.

Hey, I’m Keremcan. I’m an iOS developer, solopreneur, and indie hacker passionate about building simple, practical tools that solve real-world problems—starting with my own.

I wrote my first line of code in technical high school when I was 15. In my final year, I had my first internship working in IT for a year. But my curiosity didn't stop at tech—I got really into languages, which led me to study Slavic Languages and Literatures at university. During that time, I started earning a living in the education industry and discovered a real passion for it.

I worked in education for about four years until 2021, when I transitioned into entrepreneurship and launched Languagehood, where we built AI teachers to help professionals learn the language of their jobs. After running and bootstrapping it for three years, I shifted from being a ‘startup bro’ to a solopreneur, focusing on building rather than making a bunch of presentations.

Now, I build apps like Readometry, an iOS app that helps readers track books and build reading habits, Codecabulary, a coding vocabulary app for beginners, and Bulkingo, a simple, no-nonsense fitness tracker. Each project solves problems I’ve faced firsthand.

While iOS development is my main focus, I’m a versatile developer with a modern tech stack. On mobile, I use Swift with SwiftUI and React Native. On the web, I work with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js. For back-end development, I leverage Node.js with Express.js, and use services like PostgreSQL, Firebase, and Supabase. I deploy apps via Vercel and AWS.

I also integrate AI technologies like OpenAI API, LangChain, and Hugging Face, and use vector databases like Chroma and Pinecone to enhance my apps with intelligent features.

When I’m not coding, I’m lifting weights, learning new languages (currently Spanish and Russian), and reading a bunch of books. I believe in sharing the journey authentically—the wins, the struggles, and everything in between. That’s why I started this blog: to share what I’m building, what I’m learning, and how I’m growing along the way.

Let's build something great.
